The 9th Annual Harvey Milk Festival // Music // Free (HMF) will take place May 12, 2018, culminating in a 11-band concert at JD Hamel Park in the historic downtown Sarasota, Florida. This event is part of a three-day festival. The mission of HMF is to honor and celebrate the life of Harvey Milk, one of the first openly gay Americans elected to public office, by fostering emerging talent in musicians and artists who support diversity and reject discrimination.
