About Me

I grew up in Seattle Wa. And I started drawing at about 6 years. I learned to paint as a watercolorist in high school and still consider myself as a watercolorist. All of my work is heavily glazed with a painterly spontaneous approach. Most of my murals look very watercolory. I have visited the UK, France, and Italy. And I have lived in British Columbia, Canada. I am a true nature-girl and hike/walk often. I have played violin as a teen and began again about 5 years ago...Since work has slowed down, I am currently occupied writing a young-adult book.
But I enjoy most painting peoples' dreams and fantasies.

The things I like most about the Sarasota/Manatee area

I love the size of sarasota...it is small enough not to be a rat race and sophisicated enough to occupy many creative and interesting people. It's also a very beautiful city with the aqua water and golden light.

My Interests & Hobbies

I have owned horses for over 20 years and they help me to escape. I ride and enjoy training them. I have 3...2 were rescues from the race-track and one of them had a baby. I like to trailer to state parks and ride them. I also play violin. I enjoy walking, biking, reading and listening to music. I like classical as well as blues, rock, grunge, bluegrass, folk etc.
