Profile Information

Occupation: Fine Artist, Illustrator, Teacher

About Me: Born and raised in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Ron Sanders is now enjoying the sun and warmth of Sarasota. An honors graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design in Ohio, Ron received his BFA in illustration and has worked through agents in both New York and Chicago producing work for clients such as SpikeTV, Doubleday Bookclub, Harcourt, Chase, the Boy Scouts and many others. At the same time, he has pursued fine art oil painting and has shown his work in many galleries throughout the United States. His paintings now reside in corporate, public and private collections as well as the Indiana State Musuem.

Ron accepts commissions for portraits from clients nationwide as well as landscapes and romantic and historical figure paintings. His work can be viewed online at www.sanders-studios.com.

Ron is an enthusiastic teacher, passing on his knowledge of art fundamentals and painting techniques to his students at Art Center Manatee, ACEC, Venice Art Center, North Port Art Center, and the Visual Art Center in Punta Gorda. A schedule of all classes is listed on his website.
