About Me

Okay, well, I guess I'm mainly known as a PLAYWRIGHT. I've written more than 20 short plays, mainly comedies, and I've had more than 100 productions worldwide, including several in Sarasota. You can sample them at my website, www.mikephelan.com ...

But I'm also an ACTOR, with featured roles in more than 30 productions. Some favorites include Felix Ungar in "The Odd Couple", Polonius in "Hamlet", Terence O'Keefe in "Breaking Legs", and Charlie Cowell in "The Music Man". Plus, I've appeared in a couple of commercials ...

Besides writing and acting, I'm a MUSICIAN and I've recorded 2 CDs of my own songs. You can listen to some of my songs on this page, at lower-left ... and you can see the CD covers in the photos below ...

Finally, I'm also a PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTIST who takes photographs and creates surrealistic art from them. You can see some samples of my artwork in the photos below.
