About Me

Michael is a graduate of the School of Theatre at Florida State University. While attending FSU, he designed several shows, including Mainstage and opera productions, student and community theatre, as well as working with the Department of Dance. After graduating, he worked for the Utah Shakespearean Festival where he spent this past summer as Assistant Lighting Designer to Stephen Boulmetis.

He currently resides in Sarasota, FL and designs for theatres in and around the area including: Manatee Players (Wizard of OZ, and The Will Rogers Follies), American Stage Theatre Company (By the Waters of Babylon) and Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe (Once on this Island - nominated for Best Lighting Design 2007 by Kay Kipling of Sarasota Magazine) as well as upcoming designs for Players of Sarasota and Manatee Players.
