ARTS DAY

WHY DID THEY DECIDE TO CANCEL ARTS DAY? EVERY YEAR I LOOKED FORWARD TO THIS EVENT. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED BY THIS RECENT MOVE.
IT IS A BAD DECISION, THAT SARASOTA ARTS COUNCIL DEEMED NECESSARY.
I KNOW THAT IN THIS CITY, THERE IS ENOUGH MONEY TO KEEP THIS DAY GOING.
I PARTICIPATED IN THIS ACTIVITY EVERY YEAR FOR 5 YEARS. I WORKED IN THE "HANDS ON SECTION"
I HAD A BOOTH AND I HELPED PEOPLE MAKE THEIR OWN STEPING STONES, I HAD MANY REPEAT CUSTOMERS THAT REALLY LOOKED FORWARD TO COMING BACK EVERY YEAR.
NOTHING ABOUT ATRS DAY WAS FREE, WE HAD TO PAY BOOTH RENTAL, PAY TO GET IN, PAY TO PARTICIPATE--- A SMALL FEE.
WHAT IS THE DEAL?
WRONG DECISION ALL AROUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!
