While still in my teens, I entertained at the Piccadilly Nightclub in Columbus, Ohio. One night the club owner hired Wolfman Jack to DJ a promotion and while he and I manned the booth in front of a capacity crowd of 3,000 people I realized that it doesn't matter if you're working with a crowd of 30 in the audience, 300 or 3,000. "You have to perform like its 3,000."
I used to own the Fashion Plus Modeling & Dance Company of Ohio for nearly 20 years. I was also editor and publisher of my own Fashion Magazine that was distributed throughout the buckeye state. We specialized in fashion shows and talent bookings.
I made my singing debut among my colleagues at a V.I.P. Fashion Show in July of 1992 and in 1993 signed on with the RollerGirl Show. Upon retiring the agency, our duo's singing act continued for ten years in Ohio and in Florida during the winter months. Averaging about 40 shows per winter, we were booked from Disneyworld Parks to Eagles, Elks, Moose Lodges, VFW's, and RV parks throughout Florida.
The Tour started in Jacksonville and moved down the Gulf Coast through the Florida Keys. We then would stop at my parent's house in Key West for a week's rest, before heading up the Keys doing alternate show stops. The shows were also lined up the Atlantic side of Florida and led back to Jacksonville. We repeated that route 2 to 3 times per season visiting our favorite vacation destinations.
During the 2000 tour, I found my soul on the beach of my dreams the night before entertaining a full house at Bay Indies Mobile Home Park. The next morning, I went downtown and just like love at first sight, I found "The Greatest Little City in Florida", which is one my trademark statements.
When I first moved to Venice, I worked as a singer, DJ for at the Lake Placid & Arcadia Moose Lodges, Papadon's Italian Restaurant in Englewood, Snook Haven, several Country Clubs and The Flying Bridge Restaurant until it sold out to the development of condominiums. I sing many of the songs that my family used to listen to on the radio and television in the late 40's, 50's and 60's. I do offer some 70's, 80's and a little bit of today's trendy songs. I'm also the host of "The Best & Worst Karaoke in Florida."
I mainly entertain for special events, anniversaries, weddings, surprise birthdays, open houses and private parties. I'm looking forward to seeing you at My Venice Beach Dance Party every Saturday!!!

Hi Bruno, Please keep me posted on your singing events because I will make it there one of these days. Also, I wrote a song about Sarasota, but don't have anyone to sing it or record it. Maybe you could look at it sometime. This "anything arts" website is GREAT!
Hi Bruno,
It was nice to meet you last weekend at Venice's Beach. I'm the artist whose husband crashed your microphone. Sorry we missed the party last night. Hope it was good!
Hey back at you Bruno! Thanks for the nice thought and good luck with the St. Pat's day event. Retirement is something I'm still figuring out! But I'm pretty sure I like it just fine.
Hi Bruno! Had a great time with that fashion show, and I loved modelling for Lee till she closed her boutique. It's amazing all the doors that have opened for me as a result of being involved with the theatre.
Please feel free to contact me if you ever need my help again!
Hi Bruno; Just saw you joined, welcome. I'm a newbie too, but I'm sure you'll make lots of friends and have fun. Sarasota's lots more fun than Venice, but don't tell anyone I said that. Talk to you later, Mike

I have a previous engagement myself, but I'll pass the word along to Jaime in case he might be able to make it to your Cafe 1660 gig.
We really enjoyed performing at your Venice show. It's amazing how well you negotiated with the ladies on after us! Great Job!
I look forward to our next visit!
