I have opened a fair trade store for artists in the Village of the Arts and am looking to meet local artisans. I just moved here from the DC area. I'm also looking for artists who want to teach classes and workshops and musicians who would like to play during the ArtsWalks. Artists are welcome to come do demonstrations on my front porch on Saturdays.

I would love to come over and meet you and discuss the possibility of showing some work in your gallery and talking to you about teaching classes. I'm currently teaching a class on Thursday mornings at the Resurrection House in Sarasota. It is a program called "I Am Home" that is a partnership with the Resurrection House (a day shelter for the homeless) and the Suncoast Partnership to End Homeless. I'm also getting ready to teach a class on Tuesday evenings at Art Center Sarasota called "Decorative Finishes for Home and Canvas".
I have lived in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for 10 years and would be happy to share some great places and things to do in the area. What would be a good time for me to stop by and chat? Good luck with your new venture!
